Art Vision opened in August of 1995 after Viroqua artist
Christine Larson-Noble outgrew her one-room framing/painting studio
above Dahl Travel. The store has grown by leaps and bounds since
that time.
The initial problem was finding enough merchandise
to fill the Main Street building; however, the problem now is
finding enough space for all the unique and beautiful items.
Art Vision has always featured the work of local artists
but thats only a small part of whats available. We
have imports from around the world including clothing from Nepal,
handpainted bakeware from Poland and handblown glass tree ornaments
from Germany. We also carry reflexology sandals, high quality
puzzles, handmade candles, soaps and body care products, handblown
glass hummingbird feeders, a wide variety of posters and prints,
journals, cards and, of course, a great selection of art supplies.
A relatively new addition to the store is fun and
trendy toys for kids from newborn on up. These include inexpensive
party favors and stocking stuffers, finger and hand puppets, puzzles,
baby and toddler toys, and a complete line of Playmobil toys and
Groovy Girl dolls and accessories.
We also feature experienced frame designers
to help you create the right look for whatever you want framed.
We also use top-quality archival materials to preserve and protect
your personal treasures so theyll last a lifetime. And remember
that its not just posters and prints that can be framed.
Over the years, weve framed jigsaw puzzles, a painted feather,
a pair of worn socks, a Brett Favre jersey and a collage of souvenirs
from a trip to New York. We frame it all and love a challenge.
Art Vision is open seven days a week for your
convenience and we provide free gift wrapping.
